Isolation
Moonlight shining down upon the grass
Head lying beside a tree.
Love is lost and gloom sets in.
Yet Time and time and time again.
I think about what once I had.
Underneath the shade of moonlit leaves.
No one will have me anymore.
I am broken, lost and stained too much
How could any love this mess?
But I will go on for time does pass.
Twilight fades and Dawn arrives
Marching forward I see the chance
For some of this pain to pass-
Through my compassion I spread my love
Not at one but many more.
In time one may find me true
But until then Life is not yet through.
